A lifeless male body was found in Stolac today in the morning hours, it was confirmed to us from the MUP of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.
As they have told for the "Avaz" portal, a lifeless body of T. P. (51) was found in a hut in the Vidoštak locality in the Poprati neighbourhood not far from the entrance to Stolac.
An investigation was carried out on the crime scene, and according to the orders of the on-duty cantonal prosecutor, the body was transported to the Bijeli Brijeg morgue in Mostar, where an autopsy will be performed, after which the cause of death should be known.
According to unofficial information, for now, no traces have been found, which would possibly indicate that it was a criminal act.

The Prosecutor's Office of BiH requested an extension of custody for two months for Miloš Lučić, the former State Minister for Human Rights and Refugees, who is suspected of abuse of position or authority, connected to several corrupt criminal acts, while the defense requested the imposition of restrictive measures.
Prosecutor Elvira Stanojlović stated during the justification of the proposal for the extension of custody that the State Court, based on the evidence, had previously determined the existence of reasonable suspicion.
- There is still a well-founded fear that the suspect could hide or adapt evidence and influence witnesses - said prosecutor Stanojlović, adding that in the coming period the Prosecution plans to question a large number of employees of the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH.

The Serbian parliament on Wednesday elected a new government some seven months after its general elections.

The Balkan nation held elections on April 3 to choose a new president, members for its 250-seat parliament, and local authorities.&nbsp;The new government was elected with 157 votes in favor and 68 against in 250-seat parliament.

Prime Minister Ana Brnabić will serve as premier for the third time in the new government, which will consist of 28 ministries, including the newly formed Science, Innovation and Technological Development Ministry, Tourism and Youth Ministry, and Public Investment Ministry.

The EU Office in BiH welcomes the approval yesterday by the BiH Council of Ministers of the Rules of Procedure for the EUROPOL Contact Point.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is currently the only country in the Western Balkans without an operational EUROPOL Contact Point, and yesterday’s decision should allow for the operationalization of the Contact Point within 20 days.
One additional important step is however required for the Joint Contact Point to move towards full operationalization, and we urge the Council of Ministers to approve the necessary changes to the internal organization of the Ministry of Security, which would enable full administrative and technical support for the Joint Contact Point.
Putting into full operation the Joint Contact Point will allow direct cooperation between Europol and all law enforcement bodies in the country.
This will contribute to a more efficient fight against organized crime, terrorism and other forms of transnational serious crime.
The full operationalization of the Contact Point will be an important milestone in strengthening rule of law in Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly in view of the Commission’s recommendation to grant candidacy status to the country, stated the EU Delegation to BiH.&nbsp;

A meeting on the subject of linking electronic toll collection between public companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia was held on Thursday at the invitation of the Motorways of Serbia. 

The meeting was attended by the delegations of FBiH Motorways and the RS Motorway, led by directors Elmedin Voloder and Slobodan Stanarević together with colleagues from the Motorways of Serbia.
During the meeting, all parties expressed readiness to connect the electronic toll collection between these three public companies in order to enable the end user to use the motorways as simply and efficiently as possible.
Director of FBiH Motorways, Elmedin Voloder, emphasized readiness to implement the agreement and noted that the purpose of the meeting and agreement is the common interest of all parties for the satisfaction of motorway users and faster and simpler passage through toll stations.
It was agreed that a cooperation agreement should be prepared in the coming period, which should be signed in Banja Luka. The date will be agreed upon later, while the implementation teams will start preparations already next week.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an order for an international warrant for Miodrag Mitrašinović, since he was not found at the address after the first-instance verdict was handed over for war crimes, the court confirmed for "Avaz".

 

Mitrašinović, who did not appear at the sentencing on October 21st, was sentenced to 13 years under first-instance verdict, together with six other former members of the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS), who were also sentenced to the same prison terms, i.e. a total of 91 years in prison for participating in the kidnapping of 20 civilians from a train in Štrpci at the end of February 1993, who were killed in the area of Višegrad.

<h2>He was treated in the Foča University Hospital</h2>

Referring to the chronology of this case, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina reminds that before the verdict was pronounced in the case mentioned above, the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina submitted to the Court a proposal to determine the measure of detention for the accused in the "Štrpci case", in which it was stated that all were arrested except Miodrag Mitrašinović, who, according to the state prosecutor's office, was in the hospital in Foča, where he was admitted for a medical procedure.

This information was confirmed by the defense counsel of the accused Mitrašinović, lawyer Miloš Perić, who informed the Court that his client was in the hospital in Foča, where he underwent an operation during the day, and that he was not mobile and that he does not know how long he would be kept in hospital.
- Immediately after the sentencing and determination of the custody measure, the Court issued an order to the Institute for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions, Custody and Other Measures of BiH to ensure the implementation of the custody measure against the accused Miodrag Mitrašinović in the Foča University Hospital, where, according to the information provided to the Court at the time, he was being treated, and after the treatment was completed, he would be transferred to Vojkovići penitentiary in order to continue serving the detention measure - explained the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As they further state, after that, the Management of the Vojkovići penitentiary informed the Court that the accused Mitrašinović was not in the University Hospital in Foča, given that, as confirmed by the Department of Surgery, he was discharged from further treatment on the same day.

After receiving that information, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued an order to issue an international warrant in relation to the accused Miodrag Mitrašinović.
Ex-soldiers Mitrašinović, Obrad and Novak Poluga, Petko Inđić, Radojica Ristić, Dragan Šekarić and Oliver Krsmanović have been sentenced to 13 years each in a first-instance verdict for participating in the murder of 20 non-Serb civilians who were seized from a train that was traveling from Belgrade to Bar in Montenegro.
The victims were shot dead in the village of Musići and their bodies were then thrown into the Drina River.

President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina tomorrow as part of a regional visit to the Western Balkans, announced the office of the EU Delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
