- The winning spirit is already felt. The ideas of Savez za bolju budućnost BiH are getting stronger and it has been shown that they are the future of our country, both in terms of development, economy, stabilization of political and inter-ethnic relations, stabilization of the entire region and, which is equally important, the establishment of the rule of law - said Radončić.

- Both the first and second time when I was Minister of Security, I spoke publicly about the existence of the state mafia. I paid dearly the price of that struggle with great personal suffering and the worst attempts to discredit me and everything around me, including the SBB. It went from the publication of thousands of articles and more than 10 books against me, detention and staged trials, to attempts at tax montages and destruction in every possible way. It all turned out to be a big lie.
That is why today I can proudly say that I am not sorry, because justice reaches the mobsters installed at the top of the state, in the intelligence and police top, but also to individuals in the judiciary. The so-called American blacklist is, with each new name, a new bright page for the region and BiH in the fight against the drug mafia and in the fight for a fair and independent judiciary and a stable real system.

- These results mean that 10 percent of the personnel of the Armed Forces are rated excellent, i.e. fully combat ready. This is very important because many, stronger and more equipped armies failed at these tasks, some NATO member countries from our environment failed to pass this assessment - said Podžić.
He called on all those who, after the October general elections, will be part of the executive and legislative authorities to raise their hand to resolve the statutory issues of members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to vote for the budget of the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina so that the soldiers are equipped with modern equipment.

The production of electricity from renewable energy sources is a clear commitment of Europe and the world, and our country is also making big and visible steps in this field. 

FBiH Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry, Nermin Džindić, during today's visit to the Podveležje wind farm and the Salakovac hydropower plant on the Neretva River, said that the development and construction of plants for the production of electricity from renewable sources is on the rise in our country and is the result of a quality strategy that we have made with the aim of transition to renewable energy sources while taking into account the energy independence of the country.

- I am extremely satisfied with the current situation in Podveležje, where we have shown that the same land area can be used for the production of electricity from two sources - wind and sun, because the procedure for building solar panels in the area of the Wind Park is nearing its end, and in addition to the 48 MW capacity of the Wind Farm, we will have and the 45 MW photovoltaic power plant, which is a total investment of 200 million KM - said Minister Džindić. 

He added that the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina produced over 50 percent of electricity from renewable sources last year, which "I responsibly claim, we are among top European producers of electricity from renewable sources, which is information we can be proud of."

- Wind, sun and water are wealth and resources given to us by God and we use them in the best way, while also taking care of energy independence, but also environmental protection - said Džindić during a tour of HE Salakovac, stressing that "water is a resource which should be used, but we also need to protect it, and this is also the reason for banning the construction of small hydroelectric plants, which was included in the legal framework by our ministry".

The Podveležje Wind Farm, which was put into operation last year, has an installed capacity of 48 MW, an annual production of 130 GWh, and during its construction, 2 million KM was given to the local community for a friendly environment.

The Government of the Federation of BiH, at today's session in Mostar, adopted a Regulation on the amendment of the Regulation on assistance to the population due to the increase in the consumer price index. Remaining committed to the principle according to which surplus public revenues are directed directly to the citizens who need them the most, the Government in this way expands the coverage of its assistance program and includes unemployed persons in it.
Those who had the status of unemployed according to the records of the Federal Employment Service as of August 31, 2022, have the right to a one-time monetary compensation.
As a reminder, SBB has been proposing for some time to provide long-term assistance for unemployed persons in the amount of 200 KM.
Although the SBB initiative was not fully implemented, it seems that it inspired the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to act.

This benefit is considered income during unemployment and inability to work according to the provisions of the Law on Mediation in Employment and Social Security of Unemployed Persons and amounts to 100 KM.
The total funds for payment will be provided in the FBiH Budget for 2022. The funds for the payment of the one-time monetary compensation will be transferred to the cantonal employment services, after they submit the request for payment, together with the final list of beneficiaries.
The government will determine the final amount of funds that will be transferred to each of the cantonal employment services. The competent cantonal employment service will pay a one-time monetary compensation by payment to the transaction accounts of the unemployed no later than November 30, 2022.
If the competent cantonal employment service does not have information about the transaction account or that information is not valid (e.g. the wrong number of the transaction account is specified or it has been closed in the meantime), the person exercising the right to compensation is obliged, no later than October 30, 2022. year, to submit valid information about his/her transaction account to the competent cantonal employment service. If he/she does not submit it within the specified period, he/she loses the right to a one-time monetary compensation.
With the amendment, a new paragraph was added to the Regulation in Article 19, which states that special criteria for payment and the amount of payment of one-time assistance will be determined by the employer's act.
The amended regulation enters into force the day after its publication in the Official Gazette of FBiH.

In the explanation of the amended Regulation, it was stated that the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina continues to face significant inflationary pressures that increasingly affect its citizens. Unfortunately, these price increases do not affect all citizens equally and are especially painful for those of lower financial status, whose living standards have particularly suffered in recent months.
Although the rise in prices was caused by external factors, the FBiH Government has already taken a number of measures to protect the most vulnerable categories. Thus, in 2022, pensions and veterans' benefits were increased, and significantly more funds were allocated for agriculture and commodity reserves with the aim of intervention on food prices. Furthermore, the Government proposed the adoption of a series of laws that provide material support to certain categories, such as caregiver parents and children who come from financially disadvantaged families. Finally, not being able to influence the prices of gas and oil, the Government of FBiH continues to subsidize the price of electricity for households, and to limit margins in order to prevent possible abuses of the current situation in order to achieve higher profits.
In addition to all this, the growth of public revenues in the first six months of 2022 also enabled the Government of FBiH to additionally intervene in the form of providing one-time financial assistance in the amount of 100 KM to categories that are particularly affected by inflation, through the Regulation on assistance to the population due to the increase in the consumer price index . That decree ensured assistance for pensioners, beneficiaries of veterans' and disability protection rights, persons with disabilities, and civilian victims of war. In addition, assistance in the form of basic food packages is granted to recipients of permanent cash and other material assistance.
Due to the impossibility of directly influencing commodity prices determined by external factors, the Government of the Federation adopts this regulation in order to at least partially replace the lost standard of living of unemployed persons, without jeopardizing its fiscal stability and regular payments from the Federation Budget.
Estimates are that this decision will cover about 270,000 unemployed persons in FBiH.

- And which group was joined by members known to him, and which group was organized with the aim of continuously obtaining financial profit, so as an organizer in direct or indirect contacts made through the telephones of the Sky crypt, he negotiated the type, quantity and purchase price of narcotic drugs, and as an organizer of international group for organized crime obtained illegal property benefits in money that significantly exceeds the amount of 200 thousand, which he then concealed in such a way that he bought real estate and other things of great value with the money he knew was obtained by committing the described criminal acts - according to the Prosecutor's Office BiH.

But Šmrk denied that he had the Sky app. As he said in court, since 2013, when he was convicted, he stopped dealing with illegal things.
- I deal with other jobs of a legal nature, I am the manager of singers - said Šmrk in the courtroom.

Also, in an interview with Sarajevo Television, Radončić opposed the overthrow of the OHR's authority, because it is Dodik's policy and desire, and it is also interesting what he said about his, Konaković's and Nikšić's agreement on the post-election division of positions.
The SBB leader once again explained to the journalist the idea of returning 1.6 billion KM from taxes to the people in order to mitigate the consequences of the catastrophic winter that the whole of Europe is experiencing and which is already preparing crisis measures, unlike, for example, the FBiH Government, which it is headed by Fadil Novalić (SDA).
Radončić said that the SKY application will shake Bosnia and Herzegovina because, as it has been shown so far, high-ranking police officers, prosecutors, heads of ministers' cabinets are involved in this big affair...

In an interview for "Dnevni avaz", the high representative in BiH, Christian Schmidt, spoke about punishments in the case of election theft and manipulation, the imposition of the Election Law, Milorad Dodik, Russian influence in BiH and relations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

You recently stated that those who try to commit electoral theft can expect rigorous sanctions. Can you be more specific?
- It should be emphasized that elections are the right of citizens, not the right of parties. The parties have to humbly accept the results. I wanted to send a signal that those who try to manipulate the results may face criminal consequences, and I will check to see if there is any anti-Dayton action involved. I will make moves based on that.
What moves?
- That depends on my assessment. Those who think they can influence the voting and manipulate the results will have to deal with the state attorneys general and me.
Is this, in a way, an acknowledgment from the OHR that in previous election cycles we witnessed election thefts and abuse of the democratic will of the voters?
- I am a lawyer, and a lawyer always starts from the assumption that everyone is innocent. However, the experiences that are evident in this country, that is, the assessments of the experiences, do not allow us to exclude the possibility that there are attempts to manipulate the elections. Even if they weren't there, there would still be a reason to preemptively announce and do something like this. This should be remembered by all those who think they can influence the voting and manipulate the results. From personal experience, I can say that many citizens do not trust local parties and that must change.
You also said that you will not allow post-election blockades either. We no longer have to fear the scenario that we have government in a technical mandate for four years?
- I am not ready to accept such a thing anymore and I will act in favor of the citizens. Be assured that I will not passively watch if someone tries to prevent the implementation of the will of the voters.
You gave politicians 12 weeks to agree on key changes to the Electoral Law. That deadline passed, nothing happened. Why?
- I spoke with all the parties. Some have given very specific proposals, but unfortunately there is no agreement. What was the point, why did I do it? I would say that I operated according to the "do-it-yourself" motto. In that matter, I gave the ball back to the elected representatives here, but I will not remain just an observer of the game. For years, we were too generous towards BiH politicians.
What are you willing to do?
- If some things can be done at the level of the Federation, I think we should do it together, but, as I said, after the elections, those who are elected should say that they want to do it and take it into their own hands. I am generally a patient person, but my patience has limits.
Is an agreement really possible in a situation like this when the HDZ on the one hand and the pro-Bosnian party on the other have completely opposing views on the Election Law regarding all key issues?
- If we look at BiH as a construction site and if I had to describe the construction site in the Federation, then we have different project plans. And if on two sides two of them start building according to their plans, then the statics do not fit. And that static and that common static can be obtained. They immediately say: "and then we are in a subordinate position, that will bring us discord". You know what causes discord in society. It brings in that politicians just want to be the 100 percent winners. If a reasonable compromise is accepted, as is usual in every democracy, then even the parties cannot create a rift. But I openly admit that there are too many nationalist voices. The benchmark for Bosnia and Herzegovina cannot be whether they are the ones who take something away from me and do something to my detriment. I propose a different motto: if every politician here asks himself the question every morning, what can I do here today so that the statistics and stability in my country will be better for the citizens, then they will not only deal with the ethnic and national issue, but e.g. where those young people who are unemployed will find their job.
Good, but we still don't have a common statistic...
- I would be the happiest if there were big changes in the spring of this year, because they go much further than what was discussed at all when it comes to my ideas. I don't think we have four more years to sit around and make no decisions. In this regard, I have some expectations, at least when it comes to the initiative of the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, which is also in some way a reaction to the failed Neum negotiations. I will support him with the means at my disposal. I would like to point out that the Election Law is only a small part of the necessary legal changes. This country needs to prepare for Europe, and sometimes it seems to me that some people don't even know what responsibility is expected of them. If we throw everything on the table, we will not get any solution. Of course, court rulings must also be implemented. But I would have preferred it to have been resolved two years ago. Unfortunately, I have to state that despite the momentum we had in Mostar, with the decision in Mostar, it seems that some have run out of breath in that race.

As we speak, Dodik has gone to Moscow to meet with Putin. He supported Russian aggression, he does not recognize you as a high representative, he says that he is eavesdropping on the American ambassador. How long will you tolerate it?
- I have the impression that he is making it an instrument for his campaign. It's just that he's making alliances with the wrong people. Mr. Putin, if he ever meets him in Moscow, will not promise any more money, because he has no money himself. Dodik should be aware that Putin may be using him only as a puppet. If someone wants to be destructive, then the decision about it will not be made in Banja Luka, but by his interlocutor, and I would recommend him to think carefully about every step he intends to take.
Many are attacking you from the Bosniak side as well. Komšić and DF specifically accuse you of being in the service of HDZ BiH...
- I've had too many election campaigns in my own country to not know that you shouldn't look back on their words, which are aimed at gathering votes. Sometimes, with all due respect in relation to doubts and fears of possible changes, I wonder in which direction it is all going. We have a situation where we have to prepare this country to be load-bearing, to be strong for the next generation. To someone who accuses me of wanting to cement the ethnic divide, I can only say that he doesn't know me. The situation is completely opposite. But those who say "now we're going to make a revolution and we're going to cancel all identities" are also not working for the betterment of things. Therefore, let's discuss saving the earth. This is why I sympathize with those who say "let's all do it together". The one who lives in this world must have some understanding towards those who have a slightly different way of thinking.

<h2>Cancer-wounds are corruption and nepotism</h2>

- If we manage to do three things, the first thing is for people to agree on the "never again" thing. Secondly, we should not emphasize the things that separate, but those that unite. And thirdly, the cancer-wounds of this society are corruption and nepotism. It will be the most difficult to eradicate, but that is why it is necessary for people to give up their old habits. If we solve those three things, I am optimistic that this can be a successful country - said Schmidt in an interview for "Avaz".

In the packed hall of the House of Culture in Zavidovići, Savez za bolju budućnost BiH held a pre-election meeting, at which the president of the SBB, Fahrudin Radončić, spoke.
- In vain, Milorad Dodik tries to scare BiH patriots with his puppet run to Vladimir Putin. We are not afraid of Putin's provocations and his political poodle in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We have gone through the most severe aggression, we have shown that we know how to defend ourselves and preserve Bosnia and Herzegovina.

For example, Dodik promised Putin that a football match will be played between our country and Russia, and I am absolutely sure that our national team players will not want to go on the field with those who have committed aggression against a European country and are committing the most serious war crimes. Among our football players, there are many whose parents and closest families felt the terrible consequences of the war, and I'm sure that Dodik played an empty flute with Putin - said SBB president Fahrudin Radončić, commenting on Milorad Dodik's departure to Russia today.

Putin's behavior, said Radončić, is brutal interference in the election campaign in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The leader of Savez za bolju budućnost BiH expressed his certainty that even this will not help Dodik to achieve a winning result in Republika Srpska.

- Bosnia and Herzegovina, and thus the RS, has a place in the family of European nations, in NATO, which, sooner or later, the puppet Dodik and his already shaken military mentor Putin will understand - said Radončić.

President Radončić reiterated that SBB has a powerful economic plan for the whole Bosnia and Herzegovina and that it is the only option that can lead Bosnia and Herzegovina out of a state of apathy, conflicts, underdevelopment, and the mass exodus of people and turn a new and more successful page in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In addition to Radončić, the audience was addressed by the list holder for the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Adnan Jupić, the list holder for the FBiH Parliament Aldin Isaković, the list holder for the Zenica-Doboj Canton Assembly Adel Sinanović and the candidate for the Cantonal Assembly Amra Jupić, as well as the commissioner of the SBB City Board Zavidovići Azem Horozović.

The Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry, Nermin Džindić, today visited the dedicated industry factory Igman Konjic, where he held a meeting with the Administration led by director Đahid Muratbegović.
The director informed the minister about Igman's operations this year and plans for the end of the year.
- Igman continued with positive business operations and the creation of new values, which, among other things, is the result of the Ministry's policy, which in previous years directed the entire profit into new investments - said Minister Džindić, and added that "in the past five years, Igman has launched two completely new lines and several completely new products, and modernized the others".

- During my mandate, the number of employees increased by more than 400 workers, and all business parameters doubled, which shows that Igman is one of the best factories in the world. A country that has a dedicated industry has enormous resources and opportunities, which is especially important when you consider what is happening in the world right now. It is our fastest growing branch. Our intention is to expand production, increase the number of jobs, increase exports, turnover and investments - emphasized Džindić.
Director Muratbegović pointed out that he expects even better business results in the coming period, where the support of Minister Đindić plays an important role.

Members of the declared unit of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina presented the basic elements of the exercise "Combined Effort 2022", evaluated by NATO and Partnership for Peace evaluators, and hosted distinguished visitors today at the Manjača military training ground. 

Member of the Presidency of BiH Željko Komšić, Minister of Defense of BiH Sifet Podžić, Deputy Minister of Defense of BiH Mirko Okolić, Deputy Chiefs of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH, Major Generals Ivica Jerkić and Gojko Knežević, Inspector General of the MoD of BiH Brigadier General Mirsad Ahnić, Commander of the Operations Command, Major General Radovan Ilić, and Commander of the Support Command, Major General Marko Stojičić, and other representatives of the MoD and Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina attended the presentation of the combat capabilities of the battalion group of light infantry.

In addition to representatives of the MoD and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the event was attended by the commander of the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo, Brigadier General Pamela McGaha, Parliamentary Military Commissioner of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Boško Šiljegović, and other representatives of state institutions and embassies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Brigadier Slaven Blavicki, who is leading the exercise, addressed the attendees and introduced the guests to the organization of the directorate and the process of conducting the exercise. He also expressed his satisfaction with the dynamics of the implementation of the activity itself.
Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, wished success to the soldiers, non-commissioned officers and officers who are conducting the exercise and to those who participated in planning of the exercise, adding that he is convinced that the outcome of the exercise will be positive.

<h2>Culmination of four years of training</h2>

BiH Defense Minister Sifet Podžić pointed out in his address that the final NATO evaluation of a battalion group rank unit is a big undertaking for any army, especially for an army the size of the Armed Forces of BiH.

Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Šefik Džaferović, addressed the United Nations General Assembly in New York today, and in his address he spoke about the current situation in the country, as well as regional and international relations. 

As he stated, the war in Ukraine, as well as the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, have led to huge changes in all spheres of life, and this is mostly expressed through the deep energy crisis, inflation, the overall recession and the threat of supply, especially when it comes to food.
- Globalization has made us interdependent by tightly connecting various parts of the globe. Strong economic, security and political interrelations have produced an increasingly integrated global framework, in which everyone relies on each other, in various spheres, from economy to security - he added.

At the same time, interdependence of different parts of the world is the source of vulnerability of the global community. This was shown by the pandemic, when traffic and supply channels were blocked. This is also shown by the current crisis, related to the war in Ukraine, says Džaferović.

Speaking about Bosnia and Herzegovina, he underlined that BiH has been home to many nations, cultures and religions for centuries, but BiH as a meeting place of cultures has been a thorn in the side of politics, which are based on the idea of the impossibility of living together and the necessity of confrontation.
Such policies led to a terrifying war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, from 1992 to 1995, which culminated in the genocide in Srebrenica, and since the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement, Bosnia and Herzegovina has gone through an arduous path in building peace.
- There are still numerous challenges, the biggest of which are the policies in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the neighborhood, which have not given up on the war goals of dividing the country. As part of a broader wave of right-wing populism in Europe, there are politicians in Bosnia and Herzegovina who openly claim that Bosnia and Herzegovina is not possible, because they claim that it is not possible for Muslims and Christians to live together - warned Džaferović.
However, Džaferović emphasizes that Bosnia and Herzegovina, with its centuries-long history, is a living example and proof of the civilizational idea that people of different religions, nations and cultures can live together, and despite the war that was aimed at its destruction, Bosnia and Herzegovina managed to survive, which shows its exceptional resilience.

The experience of Bosnia and Herzegovina shows that the rule of law is a crucial factor for building peace, says Džaferović, and other bodies of the international community, primarily the Office of the High Representative and the Peace Implementation Council, have made a huge contribution to building and protecting peace.

- In the past little more than a year, in Bosnia and Herzegovina there was an attack on the 27 years of implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement, through an attempt to dissolve the state institutions that were established based on the clear provisions of the Dayton Agreement - he reminded.
However, thanks to the action of the Office of the High Representative and member states of the Peace Implementation Council, led by the United States of America, the attack on state institutions was stopped, and peace was preserved, thus demonstrating the expediency and efficiency of the institutions of the international community in BiH.
He emphasized that in less than a month the UN Security Council will vote on the extension of mandate of EUFOR, stressing that it is very important for peace and stability in BiH and the region that this resolution be adopted, but also added that in every case, the NATO alliance, according to the Dayton Agreement, has the right and obligation to deploy its forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
There are also decisions of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina which give consent to the presence of EUFOR and NATO forces, without a time limit, and these decisions are a sufficient legal basis for the presence of an international military mission in BiH, until the Presidency of BiH takes a different position.

<h2>Foreign policy goals of Bosnia and Herzegovina</h2>

In his address to the UN General Assembly, Chairman Džaferović reiterated that the foreign policy goals of Bosnia and Herzegovina are membership in the European Union and the NATO alliance, and he expressed the expectation that after the general elections that will be held on October 2 this year, BiH will continue on that path, to get the status of a candidate for EU membership as soon as possible.

When it comes to relations with the NATO alliance, Bosnia and Herzegovina is part of the Action Plan for membership. The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the Reform Program, with which Bosnia and Herzegovina fulfills its obligations, on an annual level, when it comes to the reforms that the NATO alliance expects from us, as an aspirant state.
He underlined that everyone in the region must understand that geostrategic and geopolitical configuration of the region is complete, and that the path to security and prosperity is the path of mutual cooperation and solving open issues, in accordance with the principles of international law, stressing that everyone in the region is equal, no one cannot dominate anyone, and peace and stability are very necessary for everyone.
- The whole world needs peace and stability. All current disputes in the world should be resolved on the principles of international law and with the participation of international justice institutions. That is why it is very important to strengthen multilateral mechanisms and institutions. In this sense, I believe that the strength and authority of the UN as a key multilateral mechanism must be strengthened - concluded Džaferović.
