The work of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina has not been unblocked yet, although the session was held, which is why the consideration of the Annual National Program (ANP) was removed from the agenda so that it would not be rejected.
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of B&H Bisera Turković, adding that the Chairman of the Council of Ministers Zoran Tegeltija withdrew all items on the agenda proposed by Serb ministers and made it known in advance that voting against would prevent the adoption of important decisions for B&H citizens and the country.
- I am afraid that today's session was a failed attempt to reject the adoption of the Annual National Program for NATO in this atmosphere, which was previously adopted by the Commission for Cooperation with NATO, which included members from all three constituent peoples - she underlined.
She said that such a scenario had to be avoided and thus saved the chance to make the right decision, therefore it was requested that the ANP be removed from the agenda of today's session convened by Tegeltija from SNSD, a party that has refused to participate and make decisions in B&H institutions since late July when the amendments to the B&H Criminal Code came into force, which prohibited the denial of genocide and the glorification of war criminals.
She thinks that the Council of Ministers of B&H must not be allowed to turn into a platform for political games and deception of citizens. Minister Turković stressed that a serious work is ahead of the ministers, which is why she does not want to agree to be "no one's screen for secessionist adventures doomed to failure".
