SDS representative in the RS National Assembly, Nebojša Vukanović, was arrested today in Trebinje, and then released.

In a statement for the "Dnevni avaz" portal, he pointed out that he was not afraid of detention.

- Everything is as it should be now. I am fine, this goes on their honor. They know there’s no man who’s going to run into like this, I was getting beaten up like a kid, I didn’t give a damn. I go to prison or to the police station as if on vacation, I am mentally ready. They can't do anything to me. They do not know what to do with free people who go to the end - said Vukanović.

It was hard for him because his mother saw the arrest on the footage.

- Mother as mother. I wish she hadn't watched this, but I can't do anything about it. I wish she hadn't watched them handcuff me - said Vukanović.

He also commented on the support of the mayor of Banja Luka, Draško Stanivuković, who wrote a post about his arrest on Facebook.

- I thank him. I didn't go on the Internet, but I heard what he wrote. Thanks to him and Jelena Trivić - Vukanović pointed out.

He posted the footage in front of the Trebinje District Court on his YouTube channel a few hours before his arrest this morning. He welcomed the President of the Court, Bojan Stević, in front of the building and first asked him why he was late for work.

- They came out as if they were on a break, they are arrogant. I was there and asked him why he didn't come to work. I didn’t touch the officers, they arrived on time. This is a corrupt scumbag. I asked him why you are silent if you are honest - said Vukanović.
