The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued today an official order to initiate an investigation in the case of "Dženan Memić" against seven persons, among other things, for the crime of murder, the "Avaz" portal learns.

It is about a young man who was killed in February 2016 in the Great Alley in Ilidža under still unexplained circumstances. The family claims from the first day that Dženan, who was in the company of his then-girlfriend Alisa Mutap, was killed. They have been waiting for justice for seven years!

We learn that the investigation, as things stand, has been launched against holders of judicial functions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, police officers...

According to unofficial information that "Avaz" has, an investigation has been launched against the current judge of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and former chief prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office Dalida Burzić, former prosecutor of the SC Prosecutor's Office Meris Ćato, police officer of the SC MUP Sakib Krema, former police commissioner of the SC MUP Vahid Ćosić, but also traffic expert Ševal Kovačević and unknown persons.

At the time of the crime, Burzić was the chief cantonal prosecutor, Ćosić was the police commissioner, Ćato was the cantonal prosecutor, Mehić and Kremo were in the Criminal Police Department.

What criminal offenses

The investigation relates to the criminal offense of murder, organized crime related to criminal offenses, assistance to the perpetrator after the crime has been committed, and prevention of evidence.

On October 5th, 2018, the lawyer of the Memić family, Ifet Feraget, filed a criminal complaint against these persons.

According to the information that „Avaz“ has, the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina will ask the HJPC today to suspend Burzić, the current judge of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The same applies to police officers of the SC MUP.

We remind you, "Avaz" published two days ago that new evidence, as well as witness statements, including key protected witnesses, confirm the allegations that Dženan was murdered, and that those who ordered his murder, as well as the killers, were hiding for years.

Who is already on trial

Alisa Ramić (maiden name Mutap), the ex-girlfriend of the tragically killed young man, her father Zijad Mutap, two police officers Hasan Dupovac and Josip Barić and Muamer Ožegović, an employee of the "Crystal" hotel, are on trial for covering up and concealing evidence. But in parallel with this process, the Prosecution has new evidence and witnesses.
