The Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, headed by Selmo Cikotić, instead of the announced deportations, is in a hurry to open migrant settlements in order to accommodate 3,000 migrants, "Dnevni Avaz" finds out.

Use of the barracks

Namely, the distribution and installation of 150 donated containers from Austria, which were approved by the Austrian government to the Ministry of Security of B&H, is being prepared. Now they are just waiting for them to be delivered to B&H in order to start the division of them alongside IOM.

According to the information which "Avaz" has at its disposal, up to 20 migrants would fit in one container, and the plan is to place half of the containers in the area of Sarajevo Canton, more precisely in Blažuj.

The second part would go to the area of Tuzla and the former Ljubača barracks, which was previosly opposed by the locals. This was also discussed by the FB&H Government, which is involved in this process and must approve the use of this barracks.

They bypass him

Slobodan Ujić, director of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs, told us that he was not informed about that, considering the fact that he was in isolation in the last couple of days and that no one had contacted him regarding this.

However, our sources claim that Ujić is being deliberately circumvented, and that his deputy Mirsad Buzar, who is in constant contact with Cikotić, is aware of this plan.

When the agreement will be valid

Svevlad Hoffman, Advisor of the Director of B&H Border Police, commenting on the signed agreement between B&H and Pakistan on the readmission of citizens, said yesterday that ratification could be completed in a month, but also in 12 years!

- It depends on the good will on the Pakistani side, which is the key in realization of that agreement. As far as B&H is concerned, the Presidency is responsible for ratification, and when it comes to Pakistan, it is the president of that country - adds Hoffman.
