During the operation "Kapija" police officers of the State, Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested one person in Cazin. The arrested person is under suspicion of having abused his position in office and accepting gifts and other forms of bribe. 

Money for a lease

The Prosecutor's Office of the KS, which ordered the police operation, has confirmed that the arrested person is Ermin Mujić, executive of Agrokomerc.

This information was also confirmed by Azra Bavčić, spokesperson of the Prosecutor's Office KS.

- Mujić was arrested for receiving a 25,000 BAM bribe. More information will be known after Mujić is handed over to the KS Prosecutor's Office - said Bavčić. 

SIPA reported that the suspect was arrested for demanding a high amount of money for a certain lease in order to obtain an unlawful property at the expense of the company in which he is working.

In the operation, searches were carried out on several locations in the Una-Sana Canton to locate and temporarily seize items that can serve as evidence in a further proceeding.

Searches were conducted in Bihać, Cazin and Velika Kladuša, where Mujić has property.

SIPA announced that the arrested person will be taken to the official premises of SIPA for criminal investigation, after which, along with the report on the committed criminal offense and the perpetrator, he will be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo for further actions.

Mujić was in the delegation that met with Bakir Izetbegović, member of the BiH Presidency and SDA leader, during his visit to Agrokomerc in August.

Izetbegovic then packed the three hundred millionth box of Tops while the arrested Mujić applauded him.

Appointed in November 2015

On November 12th, 2015. in Sarajevo, the Federal Government appointed Mujić as director of Agrokomerc for the period of four years. Prior approval for the appointment of Mujić was given by the Supervisory Board of "Agrokomerc".
