Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Šefik Džaferović, received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Johanna Strömquist.

Ambassador Strömquist informed Chairman Džaferović about the application of the Kingdom of Sweden for NATO membership and the reasons for this decision, and that the government of the Kingdom of Sweden informed officials of other European countries in the same format.

The two also discussed the security architecture in Europe and the Western Balkans after the Russian aggression on Ukraine.

The Chairman of the Presidency of BiH thanked the ambassador and expressed understanding and support for the decision of the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden, said the Presidency of BiH.
