The regime media, after the information that "Avaz" published this morning at 9:10 AM, that Osman Mehmedagić Osmica, the director of ISA, was arrested, in addition to panic, began to mourn for the first man of ISA, but also spin and plant false information.
They have secret plans in their heads, coups ... By the way, these are raspberry journalists who have been on the payroll of ISA director Osman Mehmedagić for many years.
The spinning strategy "to overthrow Mehmedagić in order for SNSD candidate Risto Zarić to become new Director General of the ISA" has already started last night. However, what is clearly ignored is that Mehmedagić's deputy is Trifko Buha, an SDS cadre. According to the ISA Law, he changes the director in absentia. It is the same in the newly formed situation.
Law on ISA Article 30 is clear:
"If the Director General is unable to perform the duties under this law, the Deputy Director General shall perform the duties of the Director General."
In this case it is Trifko Buha.
The only option for Zarić to be appointed director of the ISA at a session of the Council of Ministers is for SDA ministers to vote for the decision, so the regime's complaints about the coup are a bad spin in order to put pressure on the B&H Prosecutor's Office and send a warning to the Court of B&H, which will eventually decide on detention the day after tomorrow.
In addition, Article 25 of the ISA Law states:
- The Director General and Deputy Director General are appointed and dismissed by the Council of Ministers, at the proposal of the Chairman and in consultation with the members of the Presidency, the Executive Board and the Security Intelligence Commission. The Director General may propose to the Chairman that the Council of Ministers dismiss the Deputy Director General. The appointment of the Director General and Deputy Director General is made on the basis of demonstrated professionalism and experience gained in intelligence and security affairs and law enforcement, and not on the basis of political affiliation. The required experience cannot be exclusively acquired in positions acquired through political appointment.
