The Prosecutor's Office of B&H, officially suspects Osman Mehmedagić that he forged a diploma from the American University in B&H, which is why Denis Prcić, the owner of AUB&H, was recently arrested.

It is suspected that he received a salary in ISA on the basis of a fake diploma and gained an illegal benefit of more than 100,000 KM. He is also suspected of having committed the crime of "money laundering".

Financial investigation

According to the information from "Avaz", it is being checked with what money Mehmedagić bought and renovated two houses in the Sarajevo neighbourhood Aneks, in the renovation of which close to one million marks were allegedly invested.

Namely, the investigation established that Mehemdagić did not withdraw money from the account for the purchase of this real estate, which is why there is a justified suspicion of money laundering.

We remind you that Osmica bought this house from Šaćir Čedić, the owner of the "Vatra" cafe chain in Sarajevo, who was questioned by the Prosecutor's Office of B&H in January. He testified in this judicial institution about the circumstances of the sale of the house in 2017 to Osman Mehmedagić.

Based on the financial investigation, which was conducted by the State Agency for Investigation and Protection (SIPA), the prosecutors came to the information that Čedić sold the house of 94.40 square meters to Mehmedagić for 116,000 KM.

However, in the outflow of funds from the account of the suspect Mehmedagić, these funds were not shown at all. More precisely, Mehmedagić did not withdraw money from the account for this real estate in 2017.

Namely, it is suspected that Mehmedagić paid for this property in cash, which is why Čedić was summoned to the Prosecutor's Office. The sales contract was signed on May 22nd, 2017. Čedić had to explain to the prosecutors whether the house he sold to Mehmedagić was in a devastated condition, whether it had a swimming pool and what kind of transaction it was.

Bought a car from Asim Sarajlić

Back in 2018, "Avaz" published that the director of ISA was hiding from whom he bought two properties in Sarajevo and at what price, whether the payment was made from his current account to the seller's account and whether the FB&H Tax Administration made an assessment of real estate and whether he paid real estate transfer tax.

He did not withdraw money from the account for the vehicle he bought from Asim Sarajlić for his wife Amela Šehović.
