In the early morning hours, the Service for Foreigners Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina undertook activities aimed at controlling the movement and stay of migrants in the area of the city of Bihać at four locations, where migrants gathered and stayed in an improvised accommodation.
Inspectors of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs found 62 migrants at those locations, mostly citizens of Pakistan and Afghanistan, and they were relocated, accommodated and taken care of in the temporary reception center Lipa.
Currently, the activities of medical examination, identification and registration of the migrants are being carried out, as well as accommodation in the preventive isolation part of the temporary reception center Lipa.
The activities were carried out in cooperation with the police officers of the Ministry of the Interior of the USC, and with the support of the medical team of the humanitarian organization SOS Bihać, stated the Service for Foreigners Affairs of B&H.
