In the University Clinical Center of the entity of Republic of Srpska (UKCRS), due to the difficult epidemiological situation, as of today, surgical operations and the work of the reception clinics have been postponed.

Dr. Slavica Zeljković confirmed that the situation was serious and that the medical workers had reached their limits.

-We are in a situation to very soon get to the point where we will have no beds, no capacities or manpower- she warned.

The number of patients in the Covid center, as it was said, has increased to 200 a day, and an increasing number of young people are being admitted to the hospital.

Today, 421 patients with Covid-19 have been hospitalized in the UKC RS, of whom more than 220 patients are on some form of respiratory support.
