In Bosnia and Herzegovina in November 2020, tourists made 29,176 visits, which is 33.3 percent less than in October 2020 and 69.7 percent less than in November 2019, when 96,421 tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Tourists realized 64,051 overnight stays in B&H in November, which is 38.1 percent less than in October 2020 and 66.4 percent less than in November 2019, when 190,686 overnight stays were realized.
The share of domestic tourists in the total number of overnight stays was 66 percent, while the share of foreign tourists was 34 percent, according to the Agency for Statistics of B&H.
The number of overnight stays of domestic tourists was lower by 40.5 percent compared to October 2020 and lower by 40.9 percent compared to November 2019. The number of overnight stays of foreign tourists was lower by 32.8 percent compared to October 2020 and 81.7 percent lower compared to November 2019.
In the structure of overnight stays of foreign tourists in November 2020, most overnight stays were realized by tourists from the United Arab Emirates (19.6 percent), Serbia (18.2 percent), Croatia (14.9 percent), Turkey (4.8 percent), Italy (3.6 percent) and Kuwait (3.2 percent) for a total of 64.3 percent. Tourists from other countries accounted for 35.7 percent of overnight stays.
