The US Embassy posted on Twitter on the occasion of the online meeting of the President of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Željko Bakalar, the US Ambassador to B&H Eric Nelson, the High Representative of the European Union to B&H Johann Sattler, the Head of the OSCE Mission to B&H Kathleen Kavalec and the director of the Coalition "Pod lupom" Darija Jovanović.

We commend the CEC for their work to ensure that local elections are held in accordance with international standards, and we welcome the proactive role of the Coalition "Pod lupom" in reporting irregularities throughout the election process, the US Embassy's Twitter post said.

They also said they all agree that next year should be a year of action to implement necessary electoral reforms, including those recommended by the OSCE and a group of Council of Europe member states against corruption.
